Press Club of Long Island’ s annual parody show, which pokes fun at the year’s news and newsmakers, helps pay for professional programs and workshops, educational scholarships. It also benefits the Society of Professional Journalists‘ Legal Defense Fund, which aids journalists in defending the freedom of speech and press guaranteed by the First Amendment of the United States Constitution.
